Story in my head

I have a story in my head that is dying to get out, but I have not developed the words yet to transition the journey from my head to paper. The only things that are clear are the character is an outcast-ed girl, in a "far off land" ( I know so cliche) and the desire for adventure and a place of belonging. I know that this as a base is not creative or original at all, but at least it is a base that can be expanded upon and given depth to. The story is there and I can see it..... which of course frustrated me because it is not in words.
